The big Mermer from the ELOX Eco range by Kaya Shisha is a hookah with a stem set made of aluminium and marbled synthetic resin. In terms of design, the medium-sized hookah resembles models that have a plug closure. In fact, however, the base and glass are connected to each other via a quick-release fastener in the style of a click system.

Suitable for 1 user - The Mermer Big has a single hose connector/adapter that is affixed to the base. The number of hose connections cannot be extended to 2 on this hookah edition.

Great smoke output - When you blow smoke out of the hookah because it is stale or tastes charred, it is expelled upwards from the top of the base towards the shaft, creating - quite literally - a column of smoke.

Recess for molasses catcher - The big Mermer has an 18.8mm ground joint at the top of the shaft. A glass molasses catcher or other hookah accessory of the appropriate ground joint size can be attached at this point.

Immersion tube with diffuser - To provide even suction while reducing the noise level when smoking, the Mermer Big has a stainless steel immersion tube with matching perforated diffuser endpiece to screw on.

3-piece hose set - The Mermer Big comes with 1 silicone hose, 1 mouthpiece and 1 anti-kink spring. The silicone hose is pushed directly over the hose connector on the base of this hookah. The kink protection is pushed over the hose and the connector to prevent the hose from kinking during smoking and thus blocking the air flow. An approx. 30cm long mouthpiece with gold-coloured highlights forms the heart of the trio. It has a good grip - is heavier than a comparable Slim mouthpiece - and its unobtrusive design also matches any other water pipe.

Easy heat management - A multi-hole tobacco bowl with chimney attachment forms the standard for the Mermer Big. This clay head is characterised by its good draught and is suitable for various types of tobacco as well as vapour stones, especially in combination with a suitable insert screen. The chimney attachment simplifies the use of the multi-hole tobacco bowl. Beginners in particular benefit from its use, as the distance to the tobacco is greater with the chimney than with a clay head merely built with aluminium foil. This reduces the risk of the tobacco being singed by the heat supply and the smoke becoming unenjoyable.
The enclosed charcoal tongs can be used to place glowing hookah charcoal on the chimney, redistribute it or tap it off for the best possible distribution of heat.
