The compact glass bowl pieces for bongs reach a total height of about 60mm including the ground joint segment.
The tapered part of the bowl, which is reminiscent of the shape of a martini glass (hence the English name "martini bowl piece"), is made of coloured glass with contrasting interruptions all around. The roundish elements run evenly around the 18 8 bong bowl piece, giving it a certain resemblance to a turtle shell.
A round, flat handle made of glass is connected to the bowl alongside the coloured area. The handle makes it easy to lift the bowl when smoking a bong via Lift Off without burning your fingers on it.
