This Kaya Shisha head set is suitable for shisha tobacco, steam stones and also paste. You get a BigStar Heat Manager made of aluminium and a two-piece single-hole head consisting of a phunnel head made of glazed ceramic and a black silicone foot. Assembled, the set is approx. 13.5 cm high.
The hole in the phunnel is about 10 mm in average size and ensures good draught. The black silicone base onto which the phunnel is plugged is dimensionally stable yet flexible. Because the material yields easily without losing its shape, the head can be used with many different shishas. The silicone fits tightly around the respective head adapter. An additional head seal is therefore not required.
Heat managers such as the BigStar simplify heat management when smoking shisha and minimise charcoal consumption while maintaining or even improving performance. With a maximum of three 26mm cubes of natural charcoal in the BigStar at the same time, you can easily smoke through a longer session. The heat development is regulated by putting on or taking off the lid. No more tedious smoking or ash in the tobacco.
Enjoy the easy cleaning after smoking. The head not only looks good, but is easy to clean as it can be disassembled into two parts. Simply pull the phunnel off the base to clean both parts separately. Both the Heat Manager and the silicone base can be cleaned with boiling water without any problems. For the phunnel, warm soapy water is usually sufficient.
Please do not preheat the Smokebox on the charcoal lighter/stove top. Aluminium can start to melt at high temperatures.
Clean the Heat Manager before the first session to remove possible residues of dust and metal chips. Caution. Edges around the star can be sharp!
Make sure to let the ceramic head cool down slowly(!) before cleaning! Do not place it in cold water or in cold places while it is warm. There is a risk of breakage!
