To start sodium vapour lamps at all, a very high starting current is required. This can only be achieved with a ballast.
HORTI ballasts are thermally fused, i.e. they switch off if they overheat.
In principle, electrical installations may only be installed by trained electricians. The accident prevention and VDE regulations also apply without restriction to research and experimental setups. Therefore, please discuss any problems that may arise with your qualified electrician.
ATTENTION:
The unit is supplied without cable. For connection to the power supply, a 3-core cable with a diameter of 1.5mm is required (3x1.5).
