This stainless steel plate for hookahs is flat, rimless and has an approximate height of only 10 mm. The hole diameter of 20 mm is compatible with most common hookah stem sets. With an overall diameter of approx. 20.5cm, it is the ideal companion for smaller and medium-sized hookahs. A small Kaya-Shisha logo has been engraved by laser on the top of the outer area of the charcoal plate.
Basically, the function of the plate is to prevent ash or embers from falling from the tobacco bowl onto the floor. In doing so, it helps to protect against potential fire damage. It is also well suited for placing your charcoal tongs on when not in use.
Although the V2A stainless steel plate can withstand a certain amount of weight and heat, we advise against permanently placing hot hookah coal directly on the ash plate. Placing hot charcoal on the plate for a prolonged period of time can cause the steel to become discoloured due to the heat. For long-term storage and for transporting glowing pieces of charcoal, we recommend charcoal baskets specially designed for this purpose instead.
